Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my first news letter from
America.

Leslie and I flew into Chicago
with an “Artists that Roared”
exhibition and James Robertson
super realist paintings.  The
American public were really drawn to
these large works on canvas.

Austrade  organized the opening of Austfest. A number of Australian companies showed what they do best - food - products - and art (us, Goya Galleries)

Many thanks to Ian Smith the Australian Trade Commissioner  and staff who made the event possible.

Our opening at Starr Gallery went really well with over 500 people attended the River East Art Centre and passed through the our gallery.  Starr Gallery is a beautiful space right on the River.

The reception was fantastic our American friends are very positive, the Roar Artists received a lot of interest - the public relations company worked hard and achieved good press.  We are still working on sales and leads.

So our next stop will be New York   - Leslie Goldsmith is preparing a ‘Roar Show’ exhibition in Manhattan. and I will be in Rome looking for a gallery for Nevin Hirik a wonderful artist whose work is much sought after.

My wonderful friend Aurora is now living in  Brocciano near Rome so she will be my cultural guide to Rome.

Goya Galleries in now officially in New York - Leslie Goldsmith is our representative working full time on shows and acquiring spaces until we find our own gallery/showroom space. Leslie Goldsmith’s web site is

kind regards Chiara Goya in Chicago.
